Nuwe bome vind plek langs George-gholfbaan ná stormskade
Altesaam 17 jong inheemse bome is op Woensdagoggend 5 Augustus in die bos aan die noordoostekant van die George-gholfbaan geplant waar ’n aantal bome tydens 11 Mei se windstorm omgewaai is. Darryll Sauer, eienaar van Gwaing Trading, die maatkappy wat die opruiming ná die windstorm hanteer het, het die bome geskenk en geplant om by te dra tot die vergroening van die stad ná die geweldige verliese aan bome wat tydens die storm gely is.
